Is it hot in here or is it just Haiti?

Have you ever had your air conditioner go out on a hot muggy summer day? You open the windows, turn on a fan and anxiously await the arrival of the repair guy.  Imagine sitting in a classroom with thirty other students on a 90° plus day and not having even a fan to keep you cool, or listening to a sermon and worshiping God in a hot, packed service.  This is the situation thousands of Haitians face every day.

Brent Gambrell Ministries partners with New Missions to spread the Word of God in Haiti.  Currently 22 schools have been established, educating Haitian children in general studies and the Bible.  When the school day is over the building serves the entire village as a church.  There is no air conditioning and probably never will be; there is no fan, unless you provide one.  If there were fans, those who have never heard God’s message of love and grace would come to the church simply to cool off.  BGM’s goal is to provide enough ceiling fans to cool every school/church building served by New Missions in Haiti.  Each fan costs approx. $50.  Please prayerfully consider providing at least one fan, or more if you can.  Then spread the word - Suggest it as a worthy mission project for your Sunday School class, small group, etc.
